Terms of Service
Last updated 15 September 2026. These terms are between you and Nikah AI Ltd, trading as Cognivault, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17199968), registered office Office 1216, 60 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 2EW. Contact: info@nikah-ai.com. If you accept them for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and “you” means that organisation.
The service
Cognivault is a team decision workspace. It lets you record decision briefs and their sources, build a reasoning profile, keep a versioned operating-memory record store, log outcome reviews, and ask questions against that recorded context. It is designed for business use. If you use it as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected and apply in addition to these terms.
AI output is assistance, not advice
The Ask and Decision Brief review features send the relevant workspace content to a third-party language model, named in the privacy policy, and return generated text. Quoted excerpts are checked word-for-word against your records and removed if they do not match, but the model’s own summary, reasoning and confidence rating are not verified: they can be wrong, incomplete or confidently mistaken, and a correct quote does not make the conclusion drawn from it correct. We do not guarantee that any output is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. Output is not professional, legal, financial, employment or safety advice. You must review it before relying on it, every decision you take remains yours, and you must not use it as the sole basis for a decision with legal or similarly significant effects on a person. Where no model is available, the product returns a deterministic summary of your own records instead, labelled as such.
Your account
You must be 16 or over and provide accurate details. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the security of your sign-in credentials. Workspace owners are responsible for who they invite and for what their members can see.
Your content and personal data
You keep ownership of everything you put into a workspace. You grant Nikah AI Ltd only the permission needed to host, process and display that content in order to run the service for you, including sending it to the AI provider named in the privacy policy when you use an analysis feature. You are responsible for having the right to enter the content, including a lawful basis for any personal data about other people. Do not enter special category data or criminal-offence data about other people. Where you use Cognivault for an organisation, our data processing terms form part of these terms and govern our processing of personal data in your content.
Acceptable use
Do not upload content you have no right to share, use the service to break the law, attempt to access another customer’s workspace, probe or overload the infrastructure, or resell access without agreement.
Paid plans
Prices, billing periods, renewal, cancellation and refunds are set out in the billing terms, which form part of these terms.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Cognivault at any time and can delete your account yourself from the account deletion page, which explains exactly what is removed. We may suspend or end access if these terms are materially breached, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can and refund any prepaid period you can no longer use.
Availability, warranties and liability
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but no uptime commitment is offered on these public terms and we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects the statutory rights of a consumer. Subject to that: Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. For business customers, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, or for indirect or consequential loss.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change materially affects a paid subscription, it takes effect from your next renewal and you can cancel before then. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction; if you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there.
