About Cognivault
Cognivault is a decision record system. A team weighs its options in Decision Studio, writes down the evidence it is actually relying on, records the call, and comes back later to log what really happened. The point is not the volume of material kept — it is that six months on, the reasoning behind a decision is still attached to it.
Our mission is to close the gap between making a decision and remembering why you made it. Most teams keep the outcome and lose the argument, so the same debate is had twice and the same mistake is available to be repeated.
Everything in a workspace is typed or pasted in by hand. There is no file upload, no importer, no crawler, and no connector to Slack, Google Drive, Notion or GitHub — Cognivault does not read from your other tools, and it holds only what someone deliberately put in it. That is a deliberate limit, not a missing feature: a decision record is worth something because a person chose what belonged in it.
Ask Cognivault sends the model only those records and instructs it to answer from them. Every excerpt it quotes is checked character-for-character against your own source before you see it, and any quote that fails is dropped. The model's own summary is not verified and can be wrong, so review it before relying on it. When nothing in the workspace matches, or no model is available, you get a clearly labelled deterministic draft naming the missing fact.
Keep the decision, the evidence, and what happened next.
Start a Cognivault workspace with one decision, the sources behind it, and a date to check whether it worked.
